Gettysburg, PA, November 18th, 1863 – President Abraham Lincoln Arrives at the railroad station for the dedication of the National Cemetery the following day. Published from an original oil painting created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln and the 145th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address. Endorsed by the Pennsylvania Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission. Those persons shown in this print include Abraham Lincoln as well as William H. Johnson, David Wills, William Seward, Ward Hill Lamon, Edward Everett, John Niclay, John Hay, Gen. Darius Couch, and John “Jack” Hopkins. Essays by Lincoln Scholar Gabor Boritt and Historian Bradley R. Hoch.
